with the govt. its also our responsibility to protect ancient heritage......but the main thing is to focus is that govt. has proper authority and also so much funds to secure them its not easy for an individual person to secure them.....!!!!

I think its responsibility of both the Govt. and the public because the Govt. all measure to protect these heritage will be useless without our care and feelings of responsibility.
The govt. responsibility is to launch the different rehabilitation programs relating heritage and provide funds to maintain but our responsibility is to protect these things from any damage.
